28th - another day in the office?

Hello all,

Am just typing a quick update in my lunch break, it's funny I entitled the blog another day in the office to be ironic, today is just another day in the office....

Lucky it's Friday, my head is full of numbers and codes and I need a weekend really badly.

El and I are off to Philip Island tomorrow, we've booked somewhere to stay so we can explore on the Sunday too.

I am sorry for not including the link to the flicker photo account, I typed the blog on the lap top and then go to the internet cafe to publish it, I was surposed to set up the flicker account at the same time but I forgot!! I will do it this weekend and then send the link over.

Work is OK, El is busy trying to increase sales and find job agency people who will take back packers and I am busy chasing errant payments on ford cars. It is pretty dull to tell the truth.

Today at work we have international food day, this means that everyone is meant to bring in food from their country of origin. I made cake. Not very English but tasty none the less.
They are crazy we have enough food to feed a small army including 2 xx lasagnes, 2 x curries 2 x salads 1 noddle dish and cakes and biscuits coming out of our ears.

Tonight we are off to the big bad city, I may try and surprise El with Wicked tickets, if not a quick beer and then a walk arround the south bank.

Promise to blog better soon,

Love to you all xx

Hello lovely ones
Thank you for keeping us entertained. On that note, I just wanted to say - and I don't think this has anything to do with the fact that it has taken me three weeks to complete the letter that I started at the beginning of November - (which I am pleased to say is happily nestled safely inside an indestructible purpose built, strong as you like laptop crate and is determinedly winging it's way to you courtesy of Worldwide Royal Mail as I type)..... I must stop going off at a tangent. Now, where was I.... oh yes, I just wanted to say that being on the receiving end of your blog is an entertaining and uplifting experience and I really don't believe that you need to even think for one moment to say sorry for not blogging more or sooner or better because I think it's bloody fantastic! Me thinks, that if one is not careful you will both find yourself working in offices, under the usual type of pressure thinking that you must rush home to write the blog and easily lose sight of the fact that you're on an adventure and we are very very lucky to be privvy to that. In the days before the war we didn't have this sort of technology and it took 2 years for a letter to reach home and that was if it was carried by highly trained camouflaged monkjack deer. If it went by the normal postie we had no hope of word until at least 3 years after the war........so please don't get in a blog or office rut - you are my adventurer's spirit, you are my pioneers of life you are YOU and no apologies ever necessary! There ends the lesson of auntie Kitty x x x
