Early mornings and catty kidnap

Hello Peeps,

I am almost over the pain of the lack of fireworks.
I had to get up early today as I had to be in the big bad city for 9am - dear me it was a shock to the system .. I had an interview with yet another agency but it went well and hopefully work should be mine shortly.

It is so odd not working, you'd think it would be enjoyable, thing is you just worry the whole time about not having a job so you can't even enjoy it!!

I am off home now to clean, hoover, put a wash on, unload the dishwasher and make a fresh batch of soup.

I really really want a job, domestication really is not for me, and those who know us are well aware that El and I, although only two people, create enough mess for at least 6.

Nothing cool to report I am afraid, oh except I cooked a roast yesterday and it was delightful, or so El tells me, by the time I'd finished cooking the idea of eating seemed strangely alien so I had some ice cream instead.

Also there is this cat Soapy who lives on our road, very cute, grey and very friendly, I always give her a Little pat as I walk by - El however decided that Soapy would make a nice addition to Rupert, Yesterday she brought him home! she claims he just followed her, but I'd put $100 on that she walked down the road going "come on soapy, come on " ... it's a shame really because I'd love it if we could steal her, only I know how annoyed I'd be if someone stole Tonic, and to a slightly lesser extent Steve ( I'm joking) so I fear I must keep an eye on El or she'll have that cat in a cupboard before I can say Kibble.

Hope you are all doing well
Love to everyone ( give all the cats we love a little stroke )
Leah and El

Hi to you both.
I have left a couple of messages in the "leave your comment" box. But they seem to have disappeared, gone into that ether that is the "tinternet": Simon's phrase not mine. When I did get my first effort published I was fairly surprised when Sarah commented upon its contents. I had not fathomed that my garbled nonsense was now in as they say
"The public domain". To that end, and as requested by you, it now seems more than ideal that I intend to read your very beautiful bloggs and give your postman some added work. A letter is on its way.
Love to you both xx
